History
The Monte was founded on the initiative of Bishop Henri Arnauld. According to the first regulation drafted by Arnauld, the loan, with no interest rate, was limited to pawns of movable properties for limited values. After experiencing a difficult time during the Revolution, the Monte resumed its activity in 1830, thanks to a substantial donation by canon Daburon de Mantelon. The Monte quit its activity in 1999, replaced by a Crédit municipal.

The documentation was filed at the municipal archives between 1999 and 2000, following the termination of the institute. At the current state of the description available it is not possible to provide a more precise consistency of the fund, consisting of 14 linear meters of documentation.
