History
The decision to found a Monte di Pietà at Cingoli was taken in 1487 by the Comune, following the instigation of Observant Franciscan preacher Lorenzo da Roccacontrada. The institute, however, did not begin its activity before 1510. By ministerial decree of October 20th, 1953, the authorization to exercise credit was revoked and the institute was put into liquidation.
