It has not been possible to recover studies dedicated to the history of the Monte, probably founded in the sixteenth century. The most ancient documentation preserved dates from 1575. The date of the ceasing of its activity is, on the other hand, certain: 22 April 1941, when the modalities of its incorporation in the Monte di credito su pegno di Macerata were defined.
