Monte di Pietà activities

History
The Monte was founded in 1755 by bequest of archpriest Francesco Minoni dating back to August 20th, 1734, and the approval of his successor Ippolito Sironi (who in turn left his assets at the institute at his time of death in 1765) and of the Marquis Gaetano Sessi. In the Napoleonic age, it ceased its activity, which it resumed in 1837. The recovery lasted just a few years and, in 1854, the Monte definitively shut its doors.

Activities
Pawnbroking

Internal organization
The administration was initially entrusted to the parson, to a variable number (from one to three) of the elderly of the community and to a depositary.
