History
Exact date of the foundation of the Monte is unknown; activity attested for the first time in 1483. Between 1809 and 1815, the Monte was administered by the local Napoleonic Congregazione di Carità and, from the early years 60s of the nineteenth century, by Congregazione di Carità. Although a journal of pledges from 1929 was found among the documentation, the cessation of activity of the Monte is likely to be placed in 1925, when, by Regio Decreto enacted July 10th, the transformation of the purpose of the institution's assets to Ospedale Umberto I became effective.
